I have been face painting since 2009, and have personally trained and developed a dedicated team who specialize in face painting in and around the Calgary area.
All my face painters work within the Calgary school system during the week for their primary employment, they are all First Aid trained and are used to working with challenging and Special Needs children.
We pride ourselves in giving the personal touch, keeping competitive rates and going the whole mile to maintain our professional reputation, which is shown by our clients who just keep coming back.
Our company experience covers everything from small private birthday parties to large corporate parties, to Shopping Malls, Calgary’s Mardi Gras, various Stampede Breakfasts, Christmas Markets, End of Year School Celebrations and Numerous Community Events, not to mention our unforgettable gigs at The Calgary Stampede in the BMO Kids Zone.
Not to mention working with various charity organizations. We are currently working with The Regal Cat Cafe in Kensington, Calgary, donating $15.00 to the MEOW Foundation for every hour we are hired at the Regal Cat Cafe location for birthday parties .
Kate’s Face Paints is fully insured, follows all Alberta Health Safety Guidelines and use only the safest professional face paints.

Kate’s Face Paints carries a public liability insurance policy for your peace of mind.
We will not face paint any children's skin surface if the skin surface area displays cold sores, open wounds, skin rashes, or other.
We use only the safest professional face paints, and glitter which can be removed easily with either baby wipes or soap and water.
We will not face paint any children who are under 3 months old, or children who are not enjoying being face painted, no matter how much it means to the parents.
We recommend young children who have never been face painted before have their arms or legs painted as a first time experience, so they can see what is happening and have a happy first time memory for when they next have their faces painted.
Kate's Face Paints is based in South East Calgary & we are available for community events & private parties throughout the entire year.
Our rates are $100.00 per face painter per hour, minimum booking is one hour.
Registered Charity organizations, our rate is $85.00 per hour.
We are GST registered, 5% GST must be added to the above charges.
A small travel charge may apply, dependent on your event location. We are based in McKenzie Lake SE Calgary.
A single face painter can paint 10 children per hour.
